After deciding to buy a property in Spain, we attended the A Place in the Sun exhibition in Manchester. At the time, we had no clear idea of where we wanted to buy—or even whether we were looking for a villa or an apartment. That changed when we met Rick from Luxury New Home Spain. His relaxed, no-pressure approach and genuine interest in what we were looking for immediately put us at ease.
A couple of months later, we visited the Southern Costa Blanca region, where Rick and Steve showed us a range of properties in various areas. With each visit, we gained a clearer understanding of what was available—and each property seemed better than the last. Eventually, we found a stunning villa that we instantly fell in love with. The very next day, we put down a deposit to secure it.
Our new home sits front-line on the beautiful La Finca Golf Resort. Over the next 15 months, Steve and his team supported us every step of the way. From navigating the legal process—such as arranging solicitors, setting up a Spanish bank account, and establishing power of attorney—to handling all the practical elements like utilities, internet, pool maintenance, and even electrical work, they were there for us.
Katherine was absolutely fantastic—she spent several days helping us choose all of our indoor and outdoor furniture and lighting. Her patience and attention to detail were invaluable!
From start to finish, we’ve felt completely supported and genuinely cared for by Steve and his amazing team. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. We can’t recommend them highly enough and truly look forward to staying in touch as we enjoy this exciting new chapter of our lives.
